Nonverbal communication, otherwise known as body language, is just as important as the words that are being spoken in a conversation, particularly during a sales meeting or presentation. Professional buyers and sellers know this. They can tell when something is amiss or not right by studying the approach of the vendor or the client as he walks into a room and takes a seat. You don t think it s possible. In majority of sales meetings, one party often assumes an I am going to crush you attitude; this eventually leads to misunderstanding and premature judgments. Often, nothing good comes out of meetings like this one. If one person starts out with a haughty attitude, the other will likely take a defensive stance and a subliminal battle of wits ensues. The Spanish Riding School or the Spanische Hofreitschule, which literally means - Imperial Court Spanish Riding School of Vienna, Austria, is a traditional riding school for Lipizzan horses. It was established during the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1572. It was named for the Spanish horses that were, and still are, the mainstay of the riding school. Today the horses are bred in a court stud in Lipica, near Trieste in nowadays Slovenia, and at the Piber Stud in western Styria, Austria. The methods used by the Riding School, like those of the Cadre Noir, are based on the teachings of the French riding master Fran ois Robichon de la Gu rini re. The standards are just as strict at the School as they were years ago. The young stallions are taught the basics first, then, as they strengthen, begin collected movements. A Noble Mission

Over 25 years ago, a fellow named Don Shoendorfer was traveling in Morocco and witnessed a sight that inspired him to make a difference in the world. To bear witness to the sight of a crippled Moroccan woman dragging herself across a dirty road in the middle of town proved too much for him. Her image haunted him for many years to come, until he decided to put his education to use for those less fortunate. He has undertaken a task of great importance, which has the potential to change lives. In 1999, Don established the Free Wheelchair Mission as a non-profit organization and set to work giving mobility and dignity back to disabled people in developing countries. With his PhD in Mechanical Engineering and an absolute heart of gold, Don has achieved what so many well intentioned organizations strive for.
